Community Pet Pantry Program
Lee County Domestic Animal Services (LCDAS) established the Community Pet Pantry Program to keep pets in loving, responsible homes rather than surrendered to shelters when pet owners are facing financial hardship. The Community Pet Pantry Program provides the following services for Lee County residents:
In order to qualify for the Community Pet Pantry Program:

Owners must provide documentation of receiving public assistance (e.g. WIC checks, unemployment, social security disability, etc.)

Pets must be sterilized, licensed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies and possess a county license.

Comply with state statutes and county ordinances.
